These biscuits are to die for - crunchy, crispy goodness with oats, chocolate and sea salt!
Chocolate Chunk Cookies with Sea Salt
250 grams unsalted butter, softened (BUTTERU500)
3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk (MILKCN)
¾ cup sugar (SUGSP)
1 teaspoon of Cornish flaky sea salt + some for sprinkling (SALTCF)
1 & ½ cups flour (FLOSC)
1 & ½ rolled oats (OATSJ1)
1 teaspoon baking powder (BAKEP1)
200 grams of dark chocolate, chopped in chunks (CHOCDG)
Preheat to oven to 180C. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
Beat butter, condensed milk and sugar until light and creamy.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.
Take large spoonful’s of the dough and flatten out a little (you should get 25 biscuits)
Evenly space out the biscuits on your baking trays. Sprinkle each biscuit with a small pinch of sea salt.
Cook for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Cool completely on wire racks before storing in an airtight container.
