Ella Krauts has always had a hunger for eating and cooking good food, leading her down a career focused on this passion.

At the age of 19 she entered MasterChef New Zealand. She finished in the top five, and after completing her university studies she gladly took up Josh Emmett’s offer to work as a chef at his award winning restaurant Rata, in Queenstown, NZ. This provided invaluable culinary experience and provided a great training ground to learn the art of cooking.

However, new challenges came calling and after spending 8 months sampling the delights of South East Asia last year, Ella is ready to take on a new challenge – creating delicious recipes for Davis Food Ingredients
