Raw sugar is minimally processed cane sugar. The brown colour of raw sugar is due to the presence of molasses. This organic sugar is made from cane which has been produced without the use of herbicides, pesticides or artificial fertilisers to meet IFOAM* standards. The unrefined, raw sugar is made by simply pressing out, cleaning and crystallising the juice from organic sugar cane.
