This delicious green smoothie is packed with goodness and trust me the sweetness of the mango and banana overpowers any flavour of the kale.
Coconut Water & Kale Smoothie Bowl
8 portions of frozen kale (KALEC)
1 cup of frozen mango (MANGDF)
2 tablespoons of LSA (LINSA)
1 frozen banana, peeled and chopped (BANWF)
½ cup of coconut water (COCWC)
Date syrup or Maple to sweeten (DATESYR)
Toasted coconut flakes (COCT1)
Chia seeds (CHIAWP)
Pumpkin seeds (PUMPK)
Freeze dried blueberries (BLUEP)
Place the frozen kale, mango, banana, coconut water and LSA in a blender. Blend until smooth, adding additional coconut water as needed. (As little as necessary so your smoothie will be thick).
Taste and add maple or date syrup, if desired.
Pour into a large bowl and top with fresh berries, seeds, coconut flakes and freeze dried blueberries.
