This is a tasty and healthy way to start the today. In two tablespoons of chia there is a whopping 11 grams of Fibre, 4 grams of protein and 9 grams of fat, 5 of which are Omega-3’s.
I make one batch of chia on Sunday night and then leave it in the fridge, scooping it out as needed during the week.
In the morning simply mix the chia with the toppings and accompaniments you want. I like to blend frozen berries with fruit I have on hand to make a thick smoothie to layer with the chia.
