This tasty salmon dish can be served for lunch or dinner. In fact it is the perfect dish to enjoy on Good Friday when fish is traditionally eaten.
Teriyaki and Sesame Glazed Salmon
300 grams of salmon fillet, deboned, cut into two fillets
½ a cup of Healthy Boy Teriyaki Sauce (SAUTER)
2 tablespoon of sesame seeds (SESAME1)
1 tablespoon of Suree Sesame oil (SESOIL295)
1 teaspoon of crushed garlic (GARLCC)
1 teaspoon of crushed ginger (GINGC200)
½ a teaspoon of salt (SALTI1)
To serve
Freshly steamed basmati rice (RICBWK)
Sliced spring onions
Greens of your choice
Preheat oven to 180C on grill setting.
Mix together all marinade ingredients in a bowl, add salmon. Leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
Place salmon on a baking tray with ½ of the marinade and place in the oven for 8 minutes.
Add the remaining marinade to a small sauce pan and reduce until thick and syrupy.
Serve salmon over rice with the reduced marinade on top, freshly steamed rice and some sliced spring onions.
