Traditonal and comforting chocolate chip cookies using gluten free ingredients.
Gluten Free Chocolate Cookies
150g Cookie Base Flour (MIXC)
1 Tsp Baking Powder (BAKEP1)
½ Tsp Salt (SALTI1)
20g Caster Sugar (SUGC1)
130g Brown Sugar (SUGB1)
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence (ESSIMVAN2)
1 Standard Egg
150g Butter, melted but not hot
80g Chocolate Chips (CHOCCCHIP3)
1. Preheat oven to ْ 170 C and line a tray with baking paper
2. Weight the base flour, baking powder, salt and sugars into a large bowl and stir to combine
3. Add the vanilla Essence, egg , butter, chocolate chips and mix well
4. Using a tablespoon, form round balls approximately 30-35g and place 2-3cm apart on a baking tray
5. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the edges turn a light golden brown
6. Allow cookies to cool slightly before moving to a wire rack
