Jazz up a plain cheese and ham scone with some different herbs and parmesan.
Ham, Green Herbs & Parmesan Scones
5 Cups Self-Raising Flour (FLOURSR)
1 Teaspoon Salt (SALTGP15)
300ml Pouring Cream
1 Teaspoon Organum (OREG500R)
1 Teaspoon Tarragon (TAR500)
1 Teaspoon Italian Mixed Herbs (HERBITA)
3 Tablespoons Parmesan Powder (CHEPPA)
225G Shaved Ham
330ml Soda Water
Preheat oven to 220°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Sift flour and salt into a bowl.
Add dried herbs, parmesan and diced ham.
Pour the cream and soda water into the dry ingredients and mix together to form a soft dough.
Turn the dough out onto a well-floured bench, dust lightly with flour and gently roll out into a rectangle. Cut into approximately 12 pieces and lift each onto the baking tray.
Bake in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
